Alternative Finland

This picture is taken by Pekka Niittyvirta, who has produced alternative postcards to send from Helsinki. (You can go to niittyvirta.com, maybe you´ll find some there..)
Yes.
Finland is a welfare state with 7400 homeless individuals and 350 homeless families.
Well, this is not much if you think of the millions of streetkids, poor families, starvation all around the world etc.
But for a state, which is on its wealthiest ever, it is a relatively big number. And, of course, every country has it´s dark sides and numbers and statistics and...
I think the thing that bothers me the most is that there is a lifestory behind every number, statistic or a figure.
And yes. I know the numbers change all the time and are not always connected with reality.
Reality is often even worse.
